Myra Ingmanson is the director of Backroad Knowmads, LLC. For more than ten years, she has been helping professors, students, and professionals combine travel and education to create unique learning experiences. During her years of living and working in Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean, she has explored the back roads to gain a knowledge of the landscape and appreciation of the culture. Ms. Ingmanson combines this understanding with strong organizational skills to provide the structure needed to make an academic travel program successful. Myra Ingmanson has also had a career in language teaching and has worked on travel publications. She incorporates her knowledge of the relationship of food and culture and food history into all programs. She has worked with programs specializing in Architecture, Psychology, History, Politics, Economics, and Urban Studies.
